Terms of Service
1. Introduction
Welcome to ZadFi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") strictly govern your use of the ZadFi protocol, website, and related services (collectively, the "Protocol"). By using the Protocol, you legally bind yourself to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Protocol.
2. Shariah Compliance
ZadFi is designed strictly to facilitate Shariah-compliant peer-to-peer Murabaha financing.
- Transactions must inherently involve real assets approved through Shariah Council review.
- Riba (interest) is strictly prohibited. Markups must be unambiguously agreed upon upfront and fixed.
- Same-token financing with surplus is algorithmically restricted to prevent explicit Riba.
3. Decentralization and Key Risks
ZadFi is fundamentally a decentralized, peer-to-peer protocol.
- Self-Custody: You are solely responsible for securing your cryptographic wallets and private keys.
- Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are inherently immutable. ZadFi cannot reverse or modify settled smart contract interactions.
- Smart Contract Risk: The contracts undergo extensive testing, internal review, and formal verification, but an external mainnet audit is still pending and blockchain technology carries inherent experimental risks.
4. Dispute Resolution & Defaulting
In the event that a seeker (buyer) structurally fails to meet the cryptographically enforced payment schedule:
- The smart contract programmatically settles default using deterministic logic: provider receives debt-coverage collateral share and seeker receives any surplus refund.
- ZadFi operates as trustless software and emphatically does not act as a mediator, debt collector, or judicial entity.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the ZadFi developers, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising comprehensively from your use of the Protocol, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
6. Eligibility & Restricted Jurisdictions
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this interface. This interface is not intended for use by persons or entities located in, incorporated in, or residents of jurisdictions subject to comprehensive international sanctions. By using ZadFi, you represent that you are not subject to any sanctions program and are not located in a restricted jurisdiction.
7. Governing Law
ZadFi is decentralized software without a specific legal domicile. These terms are provided for informational transparency. Any disputes arising from the use of the smart contracts are governed by the on-chain logic encoded within them. The protocol does not submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of any court or tribunal.
